Project Aashiana: Homes & Hopes for Every Family

Many families in rural and underserved urban areas across India are unable to build their homes due to financial constraints. The lack of proper shelter, sanitation, and basic amenities, such as drinking water and electrification significantly affects their quality of life and well-being. The absence of stable housing further compounds other socio-economic challenges, making it difficult for families to thrive.

Project Aashiana, launched by the Jindal Foundation, addresses this need by providing financial assistance to families who cannot afford to build their own homes. Families across 13 Indian states have received support to construct homes equipped with essential amenities such as toilets, drinking water, and electricity. The project goes beyond providing shelter, it fosters improved living conditions and empowers families through self-sufficiency and stability.
