Jindal Gyan: Empowering Vision Beyond Sight

Visually impaired individuals face significant barriers in accessing digital information, pursuing education, employment, and engaging in social activities. Limited access to assistive technologies further restricts their independence and opportunities for growth.

The Jindal Foundation established Jindal Gyan, an advanced assistive devices library in Bhubaneswar, to address the unique needs of visually impaired individuals. The library offers state-of-the-art assistive technologies, including:

  • Devices like Braille Slate, Tactile Geometry Kits, Smart Cane, Illuminated Tactile Globe, Kibo Device and more
  • Accessibility tools such as audio descriptions, closed captions, and audiobooks
  • Gaming devices for interactive learning and recreation

These technologies empower users to read, learn, and interact independently, creating pathways for education, employment, and social integration.
