Youth in rural, tribal, and disadvantaged urban areas often lack the practical skills needed for employment, despite formal education. This skills gap—encompassing technical, life, and job competencies—hinders their success in today's competitive workforce

To bridge this gap, Jindal Foundation launched the Bhubaneswar's Lighthouse & Jaga Skilling Hub in collaboration with Lighthouse Communities Foundation, BMC, BSCL, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. The programme offers:

• Vocational Skills Training: Tailored technical training for job readiness.
• Life Skills Development: Focused on planning, self-regulation, awareness, and flexibility.
• Job Competencies: Hands-on training and mentoring to build confidence and competence.
• Inclusive Learning: A participative and expressive environment for urban and semi-urban youths.
• By integrating technical and life skills with continuous mentoring, the initiative ensures holistic development and prepares trainees for real-world challenges.
