Established in 2014, OP Jindal University (OPJU) serves as India's only university dedicated to steel and power industries. Located in Punjipathra, Raigarh, the University was granted full status by the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India. Its engineering and management programmes are approved by AICTE.
