Building Responsible Citizens

Children from impoverished and marginalised communities largely lack access to quality education, nutrition, health services, and psycho-social support. Without proper guidance and resources, their potential remains untapped, hindering their ability to contribute as responsible citizens.

The Yuva Connect initiative, implemented in partnership with Prayas JAC Society in New Delhi, established state-of-the-art Centres of Excellence at the Children's Home for Boys in Jahangirpuri and Children's Home for Girls in Tughlaqabad. With 75 boys and 25 girls enrolled, the programme nurtures them through quality education, nutrition, health services, psycho-social counselling, and holistic activities such as yoga, music, and sports. It also emphasises on critical thinking, creativity, and innovative skills to prepare these children for gainful employment while fostering ethics, compassion, and responsible citizenship. Future expansion plans include reaching 100 additional children through satellite centres in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
