Fighting Hunger, Transforming Lives

Hunger and malnutrition remain critical challenges for underprivileged children and vulnerable senior citizens. Lack of access to adequate nutrition affects physical growth, cognitive development, and overall well-being, creating barriers to education and health.

The Sneh initiative focuses on eradicating hunger and reducing malnutrition among children aged 3-6 years and senior citizens through a multi-pronged approach that includes:

  • Providing nutrition supplementation in collaboration with ICDS and partner organisations.
  • Conducting awareness sessions for childcare and counselling for mothers.
  • Ensuring periodic health check-ups to monitor growth and address health concerns.
  • By partnering with organisations like Adruta Home, Adivasi Vikas Samiti, and Rawa Academy, the programme ensures sustainable access to nutritious meals for children, tribal communities, and senior citizens across Angul, Barbil, Raigarh, and Tamnar.
