Together Against TB

Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious bacterial infection and a significant global health concern, causing physical, social, and economic hardships to those affected. Despite national programmes like the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP), many patients struggle to access proper nutrition, treatment, and support, which impacts their recovery.

Jindal Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of India’s ‘Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ (PMTBMBA), addresses these challenges by:

  • Providing monthly nutritional support to TB patients under the Nikshay Mitra initiative.
  • Conducting regular counselling, screening, and testing services to communities.
  • Offering additional support including free education for children of TB-affected parents.
  • Partnering with the government to ensure holistic care and well-being of patients in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand.
