Advanced Health Care for Rural Communities

Access to quality healthcare remains a challenge in rural areas, with communities often deprived of advanced medical services and specialised consultations. This gap leads to increased mortality and morbidity, primarily due to the lack of timely diagnosis, treatment, and expert medical advice.

The Telemedicine Centres, or e-Health Centres (e-HCs), bridge this gap by providing advanced healthcare services to underserved communities across seven locations. These centres offer free medical consultations, diagnoses, and medicines while connecting patients to specialists at Fortis OP Jindal Hospital in Raigarh and other hospitals in Odisha. Through modern telemedicine technology, patients in rural areas receive specialised care and referrals, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
